Larry is the principal of Advisors, LLC. He teaches business and estate planning to attorneys, accountants, financial planners and insurance professionals. He is a qualified expert and has testified on business practices, valuations, taxes, patents, and benefits. Larry has successfully set up hundreds of Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Associations, providing both insured and uninsured benefits on a regional and national basis since 1978. He has set up Health and Welfare benefit programs sponsored by AID and the World Bank in Russia and throughout Central Europe, and has implemented benefit programs for medical associations and Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangements. Larry works with entrepreneurial, profit, non-profit, and governmental health organizations in strategic planning, business continuity and benefit practices on a regional, nation, and international basis. He served as a Tax Bar liaison to the IRS for Maryland and the Attorney on the District Director's Federal Employees Part-Time Career Employment Act panel for 10 years. He was a nominee for Taxpayer Advocate (National) with the IRS and named Chair of the Exempt Organizations Focus Group with the IRS. Larry has received patents in the actuarial product fields dealing with Corporate-Owned Life Insurance, Governmental Accounting Standards Board, Financial Accounting Standards Board, International Accounting Standards Board, and Other Post-Employee Benefits solutions for retiree health care. He has written articles for Decision Trees on COLI Best Practices, 409A, Pharmaceutical Distribution programs, and Benefit Planning for medical groups. He speaks nationally on all topics he has written about. Larry is responsible for developing new markets and strategic alliances with professional organizations and associations.
